     Welcome to a beautiful Beijing autumn! You’re an intellectually curious and adventurous group, so we’re organizing and co-hosting a diverse range of fall events. Art-lovers, technophiles, film buffs, Buddhist scholars, historians -– there’s something for each of you!  Please hold the dates for events that pique your personal interests.      -- Saturday, Sep 24 at 7:30 PM at Courtyard Institute. Dr. Neil Schmid reveals hidden details from two of Dunhuang’s most cosmopolitan 6th century Buddhist caves.

     --  Sunday, Sep 25 at 4:00 PM at Capital M. Tech expert Duncan Clark, author of “Alibaba: The House That Jack Ma Built”, analyzes China’s new generation of tech moguls. 

     --  Monday, Sept. 26 at 7:30 PM at House Café, Wudaokou. “The End of Disease?” a talk by Dr. Daniel Vuillermin, lecturer at the Institute for Medical Humanities at Peking University. 

     --  Tuesday, Sep 27 at 7:30 PM at The Bookworm. Victoria Kim recounts the fate of Koreans, including her grandfather, deported by Stalin to Uzbekistan in 1937.

     --  Tuesday, Oct 25 at 7:30PM at Courtyard Institute. Author and journalist Karen Ma, who lectures on film at the Beijing Center, will talk on China’s 5th Generation of film directors.

     --   Thursday Nov 17 evening. RASBJ members gather for their Annual General Meeting (AGM).
